Welcome to www.matthewlloyd.org.uk

Working in professional theatre in the West End of London, and for The National Theatre (including touring productions around Britain) for over thirty years, and being the descendant of so many celebrated Victorian Artistes, has provided me with a great deal of experience and interest in the history of Music Hall and British Theatre. I often find myself working in the same theatres that my ancestors, Horatio Lloyd, Arthur Lloyd, Katty King, and T.C. King performed in so many years ago. I also have a long held passion for theatre architecture itself and am interested in the preservation of Britain's Theatrical heritage.
